Kinich Kak Moo (Firebird), 2026

This video showcases the making of the Kinich Kak Moo (Firebird)mural, created in Puerto Cancún.

Throughout the footage, you can see the different stages of its creation — from surface preparation to the application of colors. The artwork evokes the Caribbean landscape through abstract forms that suggest wind, rain, and nature. A palette dominated by greens, blues, and turquoises reflects the sea, sky, and jungle, while vibrant orange tones in the center bring to life a flame representing the Fire Bird, a powerful symbol of the cycle of life, death, and regeneration.
